Our practical returns process is described in the Returns & Refunds Policy. That policy must always be read subject to your rights under South African consumer law.
Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act cooling-off right applies to an online purchase, a consumer may have the right to cancel qualifying goods within the statutory period after receipt, subject to the exclusions and return-cost rules provided by law.
Certain goods may lawfully be excluded from a change-of-mind return where, for example, their nature, hygiene considerations, rapid deterioration, personalisation or another statutory exclusion applies. Any such restriction does not remove rights relating to defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods.
Goods supplied to consumers remain subject to the statutory implied warranty of quality where applicable. If qualifying goods are defective, unsafe or fail to meet the required standard, remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act may include repair, replacement or refund.
If you want to cancel an order before dispatch, contact SAGA as soon as possible. We will try to stop fulfilment, but cannot guarantee cancellation after a courier has collected the parcel.
